Before Eyebrow Tattoo

  • Before your visit, it is advised that you eat something to ensure that your blood sugar levels remain constant throughout the operation.
  • 24 hours before your appointment, abstain from alcohol. Alcohol can thin the blood, making the skin more sensitive and prone to bleeding.
  • Avoid taking any blood thinners for 72 hours before your appointment. Ibuprofen, aspirin, and fish oil pills are included in this category. If this is a problem, please see your doctor.
  • Ensure that your face is not sunburned.
  • Two weeks before your visit, avoid getting your eyebrows waxed or coloured.
  • It is preferable to get your brows tattooed first if you're thinking about getting Botox. Please wait at least two weeks before your appointment if you plan to get Botox before your treatment.
  • If you've recently used acne treatments like Accutane or Retin-A, your skin condition has changed and won't recover properly following the operation. It's crucial to wait a full year before getting a tattoo on the skin. Retinol and Vitamin A should not be used for a month before the surgery since they are quite similar.

Aftercare Eyebrow Tattoo

Use a damp cloth to gently dab the region after the treatment to absorb extra lymph fluid. For the rest of the day, repeat this as often as you can, ideally every hour. This fluid's removal stops the lymphatic fluids from becoming hardened. Applying an aftercare lotion should wait until the morning since the wound requires time to heal naturally.

For the first seven days, wash your eyebrows gently twice a day to get rid of germs, product buildup, oils, and dead skin. Use water and a mild soap like Dial Soap, Cetaphil, Neutrogena, or QV to do this every morning and evening. After 10 seconds of smooth, mild rubbing with your fingertips, rinse with water, being sure to get all of the soap out of the area. Use a fresh tissue to gently pat the area dry. NEVER use any exfoliating or acidic cleaning products (glycolic, lactic, or AHA).

Apply a tiny quantity of aftercare lotion with a cotton swab to the treatment area after your eyebrows are fully dry. Avoid applying too much because doing so may smother your skin and slow down healing. On the skin, the cream ought to be hardly visible. A wet or moist tattoo should NEVER be treated with aftercare cream.

Important Reminders

  • For the first seven days, keep your tattoo as dry as you can.
  • Do not exercise in the heat for the first seven days.
  • Take short, warm showers over the first seven days.
  • For the first seven days, avoid sleeping on your face.
  • For the first seven days, avoid applying skincare, cosmetics, or sunscreen on your brows.
  • Try to avoid being in the sun or use a hat to shield yourself from it instead.
  • For the first 14 days, stay out of hot tubs and face-down swimming.
  • Avoid tanning for four weeks and direct sun exposure.
  • For 4 weeks, refrain from getting facials, botox, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion.
  • Avoid picking, rubbing, or scratching the treated area. Allow any dry skin or scabbing to naturally exfoliate away. Picking may result in scars or color loss.
